Upcoming h2o Event: Joint Coffeehouse with YF (August 24th)

As part of our August programming, we will be joining forces with YF to organize a coffeehouse for Friday, August 24th (7:30-10:30 pm) , and we need everyone to help out!

Our overall vision for the event is to provide a cozy and hospitable environment, and share about what CCCO student ministries (YF and h2o) are about with new-comers. It is also our objective that members of YF and h2o can become acquainted and connect through working together on various aspects of this event. Do you ever wonder who the teens are that you see at church on Sundays? Or who will be joining our fellowship come fall? This will be a great chance to get to know them, and help them get to know h2o before "graduating" from YF. We need help in all of the following areas:

Decorations team - Ambience, lighting, etc.
Program team - Plan program for the evening (skits/drama, music, sharing, etc.), and responsible for getting people involved in skits, music, sharing, etc.
Music and Sound team
Food team - Responsible for planning and preparing refreshments for the evening (coffee, drinks, snacks)
Promo/Welcoming team - In charge of welcoming guests the evening of the coffeehouse, and letting other churches' students know about this event so that they can invite others and use this as an outreach opportunity regardless of which church one attends; also in charge of asking community stores for willingness to help (by sponsoring us with stuff for a raffle, coffee for refreshments, etc. eg: Bridgehead, Salem (CD samplers, NT's etc.), other clothing stores)

Josh, Tim, and Steph will be responsible for overseeing all teams as well as the overall details of this event, and will be available if any of the teams need help/ideas. Please direct your questions/ideas/replies to this e-mail or to them directly!

Please prayerfully and seriously consider your involvement with this event. If you're interested in getting involved with a particular team or would be interested in sharing/doing a skit/sharing a song/etc. at the coffeehouse, e-mail us at h2o or Josh/Tim/Steph ASAP. If no one replies, roles will be delegated, so get ready to be asked!! ^___^
