This coming Saturday (the 11th) is CCCO's big Cook-Off!!! For those of you who have signed up to come, there is a mandatory master-plan-brainstorming meeting on Friday at church, at the usual time (7:30 pm). For those of you who won't be able to make it on Saturday, feel free to come by and see what we're up to anyways! Or meet up with other h2o-ers and go do something fun. :)
Here are the people that have signed up for the Cook-off..... for budgeting purposes, we need you to PLEASE SEND AN E-MAIL TO CONFIRM YOUR PARTICIPATION even if you are on the list now. If you do not confirm with us (or for those of you that have not signed up yet but intend to come anyways), we cannot gaurantee that there will be enough food for you! And who wants that to happen, right?? So. Be good little children and tell us a simple 'yes' or 'no'. :)

Last year, we assigned everyone to a dish/decorating/skit, and it seemed to be a super efficient way of doing things, so we've decided to do it the same way this year. There are several "crews", and we would like for each crew to be headed up by a leader. This position isn't meant to be intimidating, but we want someone that can make sure their portion gets done, and someone to represent the crew when there are questions, etc. We could decide teams at the planning meeting on Friday, but it would be really great if someone can volunteer to be the crew leader for the skit and start thinking about it! (a musical like last year?? *heehee*)

There will most likely be around 3 people per team (with the leader).... but we will confirm that later on.
Now, we'll bet that you are all wondering what this mysterious Amazing Race is about! We were just informed today that it will be a race for the top prize of exclusive use of one of the stoves. Preeetty important!!
Before the whole event starts on Saturday, we will be drawing for tables, and we were told that the secret ingredient may be unveiled earlier. So please plan to get to church for 1:30 /2 pm so that we can get a good start!
Again, please please please send an e-mail to confirm that you are coming. The organizers changed the rules so that instead of each team being allotted a budget of $100, it will be $10 per team member, so we need to know who's coming. Thanks!
