Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago we had a group from MSI to come and share with us about what they do as an organization and the many things that happen during their visits in China. As well, Frederick also shared with us the many different opportunities our church have for mission trip this year. - Focus: University students

- Opportunities:
- Two mountain Christian retreats
- Small group bible studies, evening training, weekend outreaches, teamwork
- Summer job or university summer courses at Calgary
- Outreach Calgarians at school or work place
- Living, praying, eating, servicing, laughing, risking, trusting & worshipping with others just like you

Educational Camps in Shanxi, China
- Dates:
- July 5 to July 18 (2 weeks)
- July 19 to Aug 1 (2 weeks)
- Aug 2 to Aug 15 (2 weeks)
- Place: Yangqu county, Shanxi province, China.
- Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
- Age 20 or above
- Experience in teaching children
- CCCO Support Missionaries: Alice Chen
- Cost: ~$2,000
- Opportunities:
- Encourage rural village kids of grades 7 and 8 to study
- Conduct English, computer, sports and art classes
- Deadlines: March 31, 2006

Missions Across The Miles (MAM)
- Date: One week near the end of August
- Place: Kingston/London/Windsor
/Sudbury Ontario - Focus: YF, University students, young career people, for those who are willing to take a week off from the weekly routine and experience to serve the Lord wholeheartedly for a whole week
- Requirement
- Baptized Christian with an age of 16+
- Understand Chinese Language (either Cantonese or Mandarin)
- Two trainings in June
- CCCO Support Organization: Ambassador For Christ (AFC)
- Cost: $250
- Opportunities:
- Door-to-door evangelism
- University campus outreach
- Help out in VBS or TC
- Teambuilding
- Help out in Praise, Worship and Gospel Night
- Deadline: The beginning of May

hey guys, most of y'all dont know me but some of y'all do. haha just wanted to plug the calgary project more (there's also a montreal project for 3 months--i went on that one last summer..all avail to check out on go to the world)
anyways, calgary project is SURE to be sweet. there's a huge need in the fastest growing city in Canada. :) check it out! hehe.
