SO. This Saturday will be our big fundraiser for the victims of hurricane Katrina. We've decided to extend the sale so that it now runs from 9am-1pm, to give ppl more time to come! I hope everyone's excited and ready to get involved so that we can make as big of a contribution as we can! The plan is to get together at church this Friday evening to prepare (sort through donations, set prices, prepare food, etc.)..... regular time (7:30). Don't forget to bring any items you want to donate! There's lots to be done, and we hope that everyone can volunteer and pitch in. In particular, there are several teams that we would like you all to sign up for to take care of specific tasks:
FOOD CREW: In charge of making food on Friday and getting the food ready; also will be in charge of selling the food on Saturday. (3-5 ppl)SO. Get to church by 8:45am on Saturday, go out to set up the big signs, stand at the corners of Somerset and Empress, and Bronson and Somerset, and Booth and Somerset during the sale with balloons and signs and stuff so that ppl will notice us and know where to go. :) (3 teams of 2 ppl each)

TO NOTE: if you don't sign up for a crew, please still show-up and help out! These crews are NOT limited to those who sign up for them..... if you're free, we'd love your help! Also, just because you've signed up for one crew doesn't mean you're limited to doing that one task either.... you're free to help out wherever you can!

If you just want to be there on Friday and/or Saturday to generally help out, that's perfectly fine too! Changes will be posted here as ppl sign up.
